Hi! I’m Brandi, a Registered Nurse and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist(CBS aka Lactation Consultant) with a passion for helping families feel confident and supported throughout their infant feeding journey.
As a registered nurse, I have the privilege of caring for patients in rural Nebraska, including labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn, and medical-surgical care. Working closely with new parents has shown me that every breastfeeding journey is unique. Whether feeding comes easily or presents unexpected challenges, every family deserves compassionate, evidence-based support without judgment.
I created Nourish & Nurse because I believe no parent should feel alone while navigating breastfeeding. My goal is to provide personalized lactation support that meets you where you are. Whether you’re preparing during pregnancy, struggling with latch or milk supply, returning to work, exclusively pumping, combination feeding, or simply looking for reassurance that you’re on the right track. Together, we’ll create a plan that supports both your baby’s needs and your family’s goals.
I am currently completing the clinical hours and advanced education required to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) until then, I am proud of my accomplishments and am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBE) with Lactation Education Resources. While I am also pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I remain committed to staying current with evidence-based lactation research so I can provide families with accurate, compassionate, and individualized care.
When I’m not caring for patients or studying, you’ll usually find me with my husband and our two children. As a homeschooling mom, I understand firsthand that parenting rarely follows a perfect plan. That has shaped how I support families, with patience, flexibility, and the belief that every parent deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered.
